Me Vs. Walt: My Thoughts on The Video-game/Animation Industry
Posted by Someone in Uncategorized on November 26th, 2009
One of my friends likes video games. Come to think of it, ALL of my friends like video games. But the one i am talking about REALLY likes them. When I asked him if he was going to see Planet 51 (which I went to the premiere of), he said, “yes, and did you know that they are making the video game?”. I was stunned. I couldn’t believe it. A few days later, i renewed my GameStop card, and the clerk gave my the november issue of GameInformer on the spot. Reading it the next morning, I was surprised to find that they found the same issue. The Sims Movie??? REALLY??? I emailed them, to tell them I had the same thing on my mind. Later in the issue, they talked about Epic Mickey, but I’m not sure if that counts. It did have LOTS of Disney characters, including Disney himself! I made a diagram. I really cant believe what they make video games of. Comment with your thoughts!

Me and my Mac (there’s an app for that)

I think i can pretty much do anything now. i can run windows on my mac(BootCamp). i can focus my attention on one app(isolator). i can google search from my menubar(Monocle). i can store voice recordings(TapeDeck). i think with my excessive downloading i can probably do anything a Mac can do. I have the whole mac dev suite. i am a proud owner of more google programs than you ever knew existed. i found out how to use 30 day trials for an unlimited time. i literally have a app that makes bullet holes on my screen! i downloaded Unity Indie for free. i can launch fireworks, play cards, and turn pictures into music. comic life, automator, and forest fire simulation all hold spots on my barely visible dock. i can roll dice. the problem is finding the apps. as JERK would tell you, you can barely navigate my dock. thank god for the miracle of spotlight.
